I am Elise Kress,

the designer behind EK webdesign. I started my website design work when I built a site for my music business. (www.celticweddingmusic.com) During the pandemic and after, I spent a lot of time learning about marketing and website construction. It’s not just about getting all of the right elements to look good, (though that’s important.) It’s really about storytelling; taking your visitor on a journey of discovery from an introduction to your work, through capturing their imagination and finally including them in your future creative endeavors.

My own work includes performing as a professional musician specializing in Celtic music; I play a wooden flute (built by Patrick Olwell) penny whistle (made by Michael Burke) and I sing. It’s thrilling to share gorgeous music with listeners.
