Hello there!
and Welcome…
to EK webdesign. I’m Elise Kress and I would be delighted to work with you on your new or refurbished website.
I’ve been designing sites for about five years, and they have changed dramatically through that time. But through it all I’ve learned that it’s not the technology; it’s people who bring the magic.
I really love working with authors and other creative entrepreneurs . I am involved in a variety of artistic endeavors myself, and I understand the pain and the process. And I’m a good listener.
I’ve chosen to specialize in Squarespace for its versatility, ease of use, and support.

I’m also a professional Celtic musician, performing on flute, penny whistle, and vocals. You can listen to my music at www.celticmusicforalloccasions.com. (A site I built, as you might suspect.) The music is joyful, poignant and people love hearing it. And it’s incredibly fun to play.
I see website designing as helping people express themselves. It takes a lot of thought and effort to get it right. But when you see your website taking shape, and you love how it looks because it’s so YOU, it’s a great thrill!
I also believe in finding humor and meaning in everyday experience. The world will always be chaotic, but through our art, through our storytelling, we can make sense of it to ourselves.
If we can inject that sense of beauty into our work, I think it brings deep satisfaction.
The other critical member of our team is Atticus, our CDO, (Chief Doggo Officer.) He oversees final designs, snack breaks, ball chasing and naps. He is invaluable to the team.
He and I can’t wait to talk with you about your new and improved website home!
WHO are YOU?
There are a lot of questions your web designer will ask you, but this is the first and most important.
Let’s work together and find the answer!
